Until recently, I led the international Stoelzle Glass Group as its Chief Executive. Stoelzle develops, manufactures and sells perfume bottles, premium spirit bottles, pharmaceutical glass and drinking glasses for the catering trade (including beer mugs for the famous “Munich Octoberfest”).
I took over the company’s CEO position 14 years ago and turned it into a significant more successful business. During my tenure, the company’s sales revenues have been tripled up to more than € 300million and could be positioned among Styria’s TOP 20 companies.
In my time as CEO, we were able to develop the "Stoelzle" brand as a firmly established, internationally recognized brand in premium packaging, especially in the “Spirits” (worldwide #2), "Pharmaceuticals" and "Perfumery & Cosmetics" markets (both being established among the worldwide TOP 5). The World Star Award for the world's best premium packaging, which was awarded eight times overall, reflects the company’s high development, innovation and manufacturing expertise. Apart from that, I believe in the power of the next generations, which is why we set up a training and education network with nine other companies in western Styria. As an outcome, 80 apprentices have been educated in Koeflach during the last four years with more to come. Besides others, the big investment in training was a reason why Stoelzle was awarded the title of TOP Employer in Styria in 2016.
