Your trust is important to us, which is why we also care for a high level of data protection. At this point we would like to inform you about which categories of your personal data we process, for what purpose and on which legal basis this processing takes place, how long we store your personal data, what rights you have with respect to this data and to whom questions and complaints can be addressed. You can trust us with your data!
1. Purpose of your data processing:
Of course, we need personal data from you for an optimal application process. We only process your personal data for the following purposes:
a) Conducting an application and recruitment process
b) Compliance with any record, information and reporting obligations, as may be required by law or collective law;
c) Enforce or defend against legal claims;
d) Making contact at a later date, if an applicable position that fits your profile should open up (only with your consent, see below).

In addition to information about your professional career, we also process your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address so that we can contact you quickly and any other information that you send to us in your application documents or in a job interview.
3. Legal basis for data processing:
The processing of your personal data is based on the following legal bases:
Data processing for the purpose 1a):
Data processing for this purpose is based on the fact that this data processing is necessary in order to be able to carry out pre-contractual measures (in particular the application process), which were initiated in the course of your application with us, and so that we can conclude a possible employment contract with you. (Art 6 Abs 1 lit b DSGVO). If you provide us with criminal records information in the course of your application, we will process it for this purpose solely for the purpose of safeguarding a legitimate interest that we or a third party have in this processing (§ 4 Abs 3 DSG iVm Art 6 Abs 1 lit f DSGVO).
Data processing for the purpose 1b):
Data processing for this purpose is based on the need to process this data so that we can meet our legal obligations, namely the statutory and collective agreement recording, disclosure and reporting obligations (Art 6 Abs 1 lit c DSGVO).
Data processing for the purpose 1c):
Data processing for this purpose is based on our legitimate interest in enforcing legal claims and defending ourselves against any legal claim (Art 6 Abs 1 lit f DSGVO).
Data processing for the purpose 1d):
We will process your data for this purpose only if you have expressly consent to the processing of your personal data for this purpose. You can refuse this consent at any time and revoke it by sending a message to the contact address below. Such refusal or revocation will not affect your chances of obtaining the job you have applied for. We process your data for this purpose on the basis of your consent (Art 6 Abs 1 lit a DSGVO).
4. Forwarding of personal data to third parties:
We treat your application as strictly confidential and process your documents only internally. We contract IT service providers to ensure the safety and efficiency of our work environment. Your personal data may also be made available to them for the above purposes (1a-1d). In addition, we may forward your data to our legal representatives and courts for the purpose 1c) above. We do not transfer any personal data to third countries outside the European Economic Area without your prior consent (which you can revoke at any time).
5. Storage of personal data:
Your personal data will only be stored by us as long as it is reasonably considered necessary by us for the purposes mentioned above under 1., in particular until the vacant position has been successfully filled. If you consent to any additional storage for subsequent job offers, we will retain your personal information until you revoke this consent. In any case, we store your personal data as long as statutory retention requirements exist or limitation periods of potential legal claims (in particular the six-month limitation period for claims under the GlBG) have not yet expired. We will retain your data for longer than the cancellation period, if and as long as we need it to enforce or defend against specific legal claims.
6. Voluntary provision of personal data:
The provision of your personal information is voluntary, but necessary for your involvement in the application process. If you do not provide the data, we might not be able to process your application.
Your privacy rights:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to
(i) learn from us whether and what personal data we have stored about you and to obtain copies of this data (Art. 15 DSGVO)
(ii) to require us to use yours correct, supplement or delete personal data if these are incorrect or are not processed in accordance with the law (Art. 16, 17 GDPR) (Art 16, 17 DSGVO)
(iii) to demand that we limit the processing of your personal data (Art 18 DSGVO)
(iv) in certain circumstances to obtain your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to transfer it to a third party (right to data portability, Art. 20 DSGVO) and
(v) in certain circumstances object to the processing of your personal data (Art 21 DSGVO).
If you want to exercise one or more of these rights, feel free to contact us. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (see www.dsb.gv.at for contact details) if you believe you have been violated in your privacy rights
